On Thursday 18th October, the well-known venue of Club 85 in Hitchin is the place to be for an evening of soul, reggae and pop music in honour and memory of Joe Males, who died aged only 16 from blood cancer.
The evening will include an eclectic mix of performances, ranging from the very talented soul artists Nick Lambert, Rum Sams and Tom Braggins, to Elaine Simpson’s community choir (who recently took to the stage at Rhythms of the World – new members always welcome), to Spacegoat, who’s reputation for their unique, inventive and entertaining blend of rock/ pop music and beatboxing is starting to precede them!
If purchasing tickets via EventElephant, please print off and bring along on the night the event invoice which will be emailed to you. This will be required for entry to the venue. Alternately, from mid-September tickets will also be available for purchase from David’s Bookshop, Letchworth (£6), or from Club 85 on the evening itself, subject to availability (£8). Doors will open at 7pm.
The money raised from the evening will help fund life-saving research into better treatments and cures for the charity Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
This is a one-off gig, so please come along, have fun and offer your support if you can!
And if you also fancy helping promote the event to your friends via Facebook, Twitter, etc, that’s really appreciated:
Thanks for your support. See you there!
